Okay apparently I'm the last person on earth who found out you can design your own chucks at Converse
This is going to be harsh but it is true and is a lot easier than buying everyone a copy of V for Vendetta.
This nation needs a serial killer that will be praised as a hero. The police in our nation are acting completely ridiculous. Search YouTube for police and everything will be bad. Some of these officers feel like they have power over the Bill of Rights. These are the ones that should be dragged into the middle of a busy Starbucks and beaten. They are risks to our national heritage and system.
I do not believe in violence. I hate it and there is never a reason for one person to be violent. Sadly, there will always be good reasons for groups of people to murder and suppress. Americans has a reason. Americans have had reasons. This isn't about Bush (Well not the one in office now). The Rodney King verdict should have made people grab there guns and take over police stations.
Americans are afraid to revolt. I'm afraid to revolt. No one wants to stand up to the law in battle. Count all the police and all the military forces that might be brought in to end any attempt at a revolution. American's out number them by an amazing number. They have bigger guns and Americans don't want to fight. We have too much to lose and we hold them all above our freedom.
Police officers are either great people or fucking insane. Like politics, it attracts the best and worst of the American population. It's horrible that we have corruption at the top. (This part is about Bush.) Our president is a horrible leader. He has made the government into big brother, and most people seem to be fine with that. The government works for us. Do you know why? Because we're bigger and have more resources.
We will never use them or fight back. That's why we need a crazy person to start the revolution. Really where is a serial killer bent on carrying out a personal agenda that they think was delivered to them by God, shit, we might have elected him. Oh well, where's another one crazy enough to track down and beat or murder a cop who breaks up a peaceful protest and arrest a few people for using their rights? Or use a skateboard to crack the skull of an officer who choke slams a teenage girl for skateboarding on a side walk?
Yes, some of these officer are following ordinances, but I think our hero should go after the people behind them too.
Before I'm whisked away by the Secret Service, I am not condoning randomly killing people. I am only condoning taking down a broken system and replacing it with another one.
People this is not going to change next November. The president doesn't have that much power. We vote in corrupt people to follow a corrupt man. We allow people with anger problems and control issues to carry guns and enforce laws as they interpret them.
We need a revolution, and every revolution has a little blood. It also always has a little less blood than the one before it. America is close to being perfect but it's going to take more blood, more passion, and a hell of a lot more people fighting the government to get us there. I have no idea what to do to make this nation perfect or get it back on track, but I know what's wrong and we should start there, with action, not with politics.

The last keynote is hours old and I'm ready to make my predictions for the next major iPod updates.
iPod shuffle:
Could happen: It'll be redesigned with a better shuffle switch and a clip that is clearly meant to be used for wrapping your earbuds around when not in use.
The Dream: Jonathan Ives some how figures out a way to add a multiple playlist feature with out the design being complicated.
iPod nano:
Could Happen: The nano will be merged with the classic line and just be called iPod, it and will have a range of 16 gig to 200.
The Dream: Apple includes bluetooth for car stereo-systems, wireless headphones, and advance Apple TV control.
iPod touch:
Could Happen: More storage space, but still flash based.
The Dream: iChat, and a camera for iChat. Streaming movies from iTunes.
iPhone:
Could Happen: Complete redesign, increased storage, better camera with a flash.
The Dream: The ability to connect to your mac any where in the world and run applications and get files.
The Entire Line:
Could Happen: Price drops.
The Dream: New batteries that can be charged by dancing with them.
So I finally admitted to the death of my old chucks. It wasn't the paint, the ink, or any of the tell-tell "I'm an artist" signs. It was the grease and cake-y white powered from working as a cook. I hate seeing them replaced, but I hate the fact that the new pairs I bought don't have the red and black inked compass stars on the toes that let people know subtly that I was bored in class a lot and carried different color pens.
I remember the day I got my first pair of Chucks. It was not that long ago, I was a loafers man from the ages of fourteen to sixteen and before that I was a total Doc Martens trend whore. A girl looked down at my feet and called me a poser cause they were so clean and bright. She did this while wearing a Good Charlotte tee. I was wearing expensive jeans, a non-band graphic tee with no writing, and a blazer. Everything about my clothes said that I was trying to be John Mayer, which is synonymous with not wanting to be a part of that early emo scene. I mean my god I had business cards! You can't be emo and have little cards with your name on them and the square root of your phone number. Still this girl was being really persnickety about my shoes and I don't want to encounter that again. Because I have a feeling who ever would be insecure enough to call me a poser will be wearing a 30 Seconds to Mars tee and I'll have to strangle them with my iPhone earbuds while quoting Rock Star by N*E*R*D.
toffer also found out having business card in high-school with a math problem someone had to solve in order to call him was the best chastity belt his mother ever bought him.
I have fallen in love with Not Couture. It is not a perfect relationship though. Like most relationships I've been in it makes me question my manhood. Not because it does more manual labor than me or because it it has a five year plan, but because sometimes it makes me feel like a woman. A man should not get giddy and use the word cute. Most of all men should not wish they were women so they can wear or use some products.

Yes, I know, I have the iPhone. I have the best, the most lusted after, and the most ridiculously expensive mobile on the market. I love my phone and I'm and Apple fan boy. But I will buy this phone when it comes out if it meets two criteria. It's is under $150 and it will work with my iPhone's sim. See the iPhone is not the most rugged thing. The Levi's phone is made out of steel. I could take that to the beach, take it on a hike, or walk up stars with no fear. It would not replace my iPhone, the only thing that could do that is a third gen iPhone. But I would use this phone every time I did anything rough.
